    Ready-to-Ride Weight for '12 NTX

God Bless that you are thinking about another bike at age 79. I don't know the Stelvio's weight either, but I do own both the Stelvio (09) and a Vstrom. I have both equiped as you mention- all the accessories- highway bars, bags, centerstands and top boxes, which are the heavier accessories. I...

Thanks Jeff, I had downloaded your leveling design when you first posted it, but my computer was stolen and I no longer have the drawing. Upon your return it would be great if you could post it again. Enjoy your ride and be safe! Bob

    Trax Top case Mount?

I would love to have the spacers myself. As it is, the box is now useless if you want to take a passenger along. Can anyone post the link to the spacer? I can't locate it.

    Trax Top case Mount?

I have the Trax top case on my Stelvio that I purchased from Twisted Throttle. There is an additional top plate that you need to buy.

such a shame - I had fallen in love with the Stelvio

My 2009 Stelvio has zero surging- never did! Smooth as any bike I have ever ridden. I am familiar with the surging that you describe, as early BMW oilheads were the very worst offenders and always "hunted" at low speeds under light throttle!

    Todd was in an accident

Todd, sorry to hear about your troubles, but I am glad you are recovering well. I didn't wish you well sooner because I have been traveling. Funny, as I get older I find I am more thankful for the "little" things-like health!

    Feedback on Northcentral Dealers

Hi Bill, I happened to stop by Rose Farm the day you were taking delivery of your Griso. I stopped there as I often do while out riding, to use the head and that day warm up a bit. I saw you and your wife and wished I knew it was you. At the time I was surprised someone from Georgia was buying...

    Feedback on Northcentral Dealers

I was new to Guzzi in 2008, but knew Jim at Rose Farm for many years. How? About 25 years ago when Jim was working for a BMW dealer, my son and I were out riding and my BMW suddenly stopped. I called Jim and told him my problem. That night, after his regular job was over, he drove out a...

See the discussion here: http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/all-for ... asket.html Seems the discussion has been going on a long time before I asked.

Gasket sealer or not on oil pan gasket?

Thanks for the replies. How easy is it to remove these products such a Hylomar? I don't know if the factory uses anything or not, but the old gasket seemed to come of in 1 to 2 inch pieces. I had to do some mild scraping, but I was afraid to gouge the surfaces.
