Bad Problem with Guzzi Stelvio NTX Aux Lamps

Okay...I just got stranded on Sunday by the same problem  . I've been checking the wiring routinely but still got bit. I've gutted the lights for now and made the wiring safe so it can't blow the charging fuse again. I'm also carrying a set of jumper cables cuz these beasts are tough...

    NTX Tail Light Trouble

Got my new warrantied taillight installed this past weekend. So far, so good! I hope this one holds out. Anyway, it's a great excuse to make the 2+ hour ride to Prescott, AZ to visit Matt and John at "Encore Performance and Fabrication" or "Powersports Outlet" as they're called now.

2012 Stelvio NTX Bash Plate Grommets

Thanks canuck, I'll be stopping by Ace on the way home this evening. I'm hoping to find something made from poly. I found some in McMaster-Carr and may order a full set to see how they work. I'm afraid the rubber ones will just continue to cut through from the vibration...

2012 Stelvio NTX Bash Plate Grommets

I started getting a vibration noise and traced it to a failed grommet on the right front corner of the oil sump bash plate. Has anyone else had this failure? I need to find replacement grommets and they don't look like an off-the-shelf item. Any suggestions? I'm headed for Ace Hardware to...

    Update on factory heated grips

Good to know about the control function on the new NTX. I'm thinking of going with Oxford grips on mine. Any feedback on the best heated grips other than factory ones. I've seen the factory grips on other bikes and the material seems to break down and wear faster than I'd like. Any...

    Centurion-S or ????

I have a 2012 NTX and would like to order a diagnostic tool for my own use. I've heard a rumor that the new Guzzi's require a different tool put out by Piaggio called the PADS. Has anyone heard of this? Will the Centurion-S or TR VDST-Diagnostics tool work for me or do I need something...

Charcoal Canister Removal - Detailed with Pictures

Hey Scott, Thanks for the excellent procedure. I followed step-by-step and everything went like clockwork. I am thrilled with the improvement in starting, idle control and consistance throughout the throttle range now. I can't help but wonder if some of the "fueling problems" at least on the...

    NTX Tail Light Trouble

Well...my dealer just turned in a warranty claim and ordered a new assembly. I hope the new one works better. My voltage is running between 14.0 and 14.2 while riding and as low as 13.9 at idle with aux. lights on too. Voltage seems fine unless the LEDs are designed for higher voltage. That...

    NTX Tail Light Trouble

Thanks John. I figured it would be a warranty issue but was surprised there were no other discussions. I guess that is a good thing and means the problem is a small one. Now I'll just have to wait for the warranty claim and hope it doesn't quit all together before then.

    NTX Tail Light Trouble

I'm brand new to this forum and forums in general so please be kind! I'm lucky enough :P to have a new 2012 NTX and just discovered the tail light assembly is malfunctioning. There are certain LEDs that ramdomly work while others work all the time. Both running and brake lights are affected...
