    Clicking on startup continued

If I listen to the frequency it's the same as ignition (spark). When you pull away the microphone it dissapears. Can you hear it from 1 meter distance? are you sure it's not a spark (current) leaking from the spark plug cap/wire or else? Is it mechanical?

Solution tyre noise Dunlop RoadSmart III 2009 Stelvio

MIchelin Pilot Road 3 is a good tire sure but is known to have punctures. the crown area is very thin and light and therefore sensitieve especially on all Road bikes. I had 2 punctures and friends had same experence. The RSIII is good too but my next tire set will be the Metzeler tourance next.

Solution tyre noise Dunlop RoadSmart III 2009 Stelvio

Bought me 2000 miles back a new set of RoadSmarts III. They are great in the rain and very good handling. Reviews are great but I had a lot of tyre noise at low speeds and open asphalt which was annoying and not present with the former Metzlers and before that Pilot Road 3. Coincidentally I made...

    Share a rear shock experience

Thans Lannis. NeXT winter I will order the hyperpro front springs. I must say that the stock front shock is very good. i've no real issue but changing the rear was such a difference that I will take a chance. hyperpro shocks have progressieve springs and that really makes the difference.

Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Here is my Stelvio on the Stelvio last year. This was on a mountain nearby even better!

    Share a rear shock experience

I just want to share a rear shock experience. I swapped the rear shock of my 2009 Stelvio (41000 km) with a new Hyperpro damper (thanks to Louis I did not remove the swing arm). Over here they are pretty famous and the price is reasonable just under 500 Euro. I drove the bike last night really...

    Rollerization

My engine is modified without the shim. It runs now 10000 km without any issue. Yeah the shim is for high RPM to avoid float of the valve. if you don't use those high RPM for long highway rides you can delete the shim. It saves you a lot of work.

    H4 LED Headlights

I changed my mind. I drove with the LEDS's and in spite of the bad cut-off I showed in my earleir post in practice they do not blind other traffic. The main reason I want LED is that the early 2008-2010 Stelvio's have low beam over a relay and the high beam is over the switch only. Another...

    H4 LED Headlights

I have to add that there are a lot of LED replacement systems. My small test is not reflecting LED replacement kits in General. Might be that the ones sold in Guzzitech's shop are better. I'm a lot in Japan because of my job and light regulation is pretty strict. They follow ECE R48 (EU light...

    H4 LED Headlights

Here is some update Covered the lights with some cloth to see the cut off. Right is LED and left is H4 OEM. You can clearly see the bad cut off. Without cover Right is LED Left is OEM low beam Left and right Halogen low beam Left and right LED low beam Leeft and right Halogen...

    H4 LED Headlights

Keith, You clearly see in the photo (me driving up the Stelvio pass this summer) the cut off at dipped beam. This is normal H4 halogen at my bike. Those LED replacement lamps can never be as OEM halogen and besides that in Europe Switserland and other Countries they are abloslutely forbidden...

    H4 LED Headlights

The H4 LED technology improve and I ordered these. ebay.nl/itm/H4-HIGH-POWER-PHILIPS-LED-2x-3000-LM-40W-2ER-SET-12-24V-/381401915709?hash=item58cd53613d:g:BaQAAOSwFnFV9t09 I didn't test them yet but you can see by the shape that they are designed to reduce glare. There are good reviews on the...

    2008 stelvio buy or not?

There is modification kit with rollers. Guzzi pays the part for warrenty even of a 2008. But it must have been maintained by a Guzzi Dealer. There is however a lot written on this forum. Don't panic, its a great bike and when it's good now after ...... Km just take care you burn good oil. I'm...

    2008 stelvio buy or not?

I did the cam(modify to rollers) at 26000 MIles. The Parts which came out were still fine. Now I have 33000 Miles and the bike runs perfect. Maybe you can make a deal with the dealer. Modify it to rollers and then you buy it. However nobody knows when the standard cam will fail. Some will never...
