Well in terms of troubleshooting I just tried disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting and starting her up. Success! Now the low-high beam switch is working and so is the light bulb! My relays and main fuses were all intact so I figured I would try the battery. I pulled...
Figured this was an easy project to upgrade the bulb.....it was but despite troubleshooting the high-low button is doing nothing......the H4 bulb comes on nice and bright when I toggle the passing button so it seems correctly connected. I checked the 15a fuses and intact. Stumped in CT!
Ribs tend to heal pretty well....had 7 busted in late summer 2014 on the track. the clavicle is bit tougher.....mine was just fractured and didn't need surgery but still not 100% 5 months later (I am 53)....probably will need to go back to the ortho. Sleeping sitting up in a recliner or...
You can also look for a Non-Sport bike track day...some of the groups do that for folks who have not been on the track before or want a slower pace. Just remember its ok to pit early if you are getting tired. The track takes lots of concentration. I had a bad crash this year trying to keep up...
Todd that Tonys Track Day attendees loved the bike and yes I was using the new version from Stuchhi but I agree with switch to Hepco and Becker.......that is the impact zone on a lay down.
Bike will be fine just cosmetic stuff. I do recommend that everybody consider adding bars!
Hey I unfortunately tested these bars at a track day on Tuesday! They worked great at protecting the engine. Impact at 30mph or so in the gravel down on right side. Wind screen was ripped half but bars did not bend. With the money! I will post some pics once I get out of the hospital tomorrow.
Track day novice but I have signed up for a day at the new Thompson track in CT in August. Snow might be gone by then!
Since I won't be pushing it too hard I was wondering what is the best approach....order the track day tires and have them put on at the track the night before? Show up on...
Ditching the exhaust for one of Todd's made a big difference on my 2013 SE......then I cranked it up a couple of more notches with the full ECU reflash. Never had a shaft drive bike before so I was actually expecting more lash, the CARC seems very smooth to me.
I agree on the throttle blipping...
No Techie here but as a rider Todd's solution (the full monty ECU, Autotune and Exhaust) has made a significant difference on my 2013 Griso. Yes I did get it dyno'd also with Dyno-Jet mostly to make sure the install was done correctly and do any tweaking. Not sure if it was a mistake but we...
I will send in a note to Pit-Bull as I also have the front stand from them. Hey that lift table looks great....as for the legs, well the clogs are nice!
Thanks very helpful.
Then I am on the right track I have the hybrid Pit Bull front stand and also the Guzzi service stand...I will contact the Pit Bull guys about a rear. Thanks!
Want to get the bike in the air to do maintenance and extra detailing......but given that the engine is a load bearing frame component.......is a lift table the only option?
I have looked at some of the jacks that are 75% cheaper but I don't think that will work?
A lift table look great but...
Did a ride in the low 40's on my 2013 Griso here in CT.......not ready to give up for the winter!
I put in the full Todd package on full management...love the bike so much I gotta keep riding with frozen fingers!
