    Falcone Side Stand.

I have a 1963 MG Faclone and would love to have a side stand for it. I have actually seen ONE in a picture somewhere. Does anyone have any information about where to get one? One that I could modify to fit? things that others have done ? Thanks so very much in advance. Marc

Falcone kick start lever & other questions

I found upgraded throw out bearing at VXB.com Kit8159Thrust Bearing 7x14x4.5 Miniature. I also found the complete bearing with cup and the shift return springs here: http://guzzino.com/motoguzzi.html

    Falcone Clutch Button Bearing Modernization

Old thread but as I just got one of these I am doing some research. It would be most welcome to find out where to get a bearing setup like this, or even a stock spare to carry with the bike. A spare cable would be a good addition also. I like the idea of somehow making the clutch arm captive if...

Falcone kick start lever & other questions

Next Question, I am in Denver Colorado US and where is a good outlet for parts for these machines? Are there any MUST carry parts that should be with the bike at all times? I have been told that a clutch throw out bearing should be carried with just in case. ?? I would assume a set of cables...

Falcone kick start lever & other questions

Thank you for the information. I may put one on even though it is not a factory item. I would think after decades of being kicked it would wear the metal a certain amount. ?? I think it will be a very enjoyable bike to take for a mellow ride from time to time.

Falcone kick start lever & other questions

I am not sure where to post this so please forgive if this is not correct. I have several single cylinder Ducati's and they have a rubber cover over the kick start lever. i just picked up a 1963 Falcone Turismo and the kick start lever is bare metal. Looking online at pictures I an only...

How to check the oil level

That is a good idea. What I have always done is remove the dipstick and wipe it off. Then standing next to the bike hold it up vertical, insert the dipstick and remove. You can then set the bike back on the side stand and look at the dipstick to see where the oil level is. Marc

    Clutch Chatter

Well my clutch chatters and Piaggio has turned down any warranty work on it what so ever. So according the the manual I should not ride the bike but Moto Gussi will not fix it. Just great. :o  That and the mystery high beam headlight that works part of the time but no cure found...

    Fuel filter options, Stelvio NTX

I have not had mine apart yet, but from the pictures is the white collar and O ring just presses over the normal sized outlet ?? Could it be removed and placed on a semi available filter. ? Just adding fuel to the fire. Marc

    Stelvio problem - help

I agree with Vinny. My Stelvio did this a couple of times when I first got it. Take the battery cables off and clean them VERY good. I used some dielectric grease on them so the corrosion would not come back. 10K miles later the problem has not reoccurred. They seem to be VERY sensitive to the...

    Abrupt throttle response

My 2012 is like that also. I put the O2 optimizers and the PC-V on it and it smoothed out the throttle a lot. But I took that stuff of as I am going another way with the fueling and timing. It is something you can get used to, just have to use a light hand. :D Marc

Can't lock my wheel - is it dangerous to ride?

I have also found that it does not lock at FULL deflection. When you turn the bars to the left wiggle them a bit to make sure the lock engages. Marc

New V7 Stone Owner + Some Questions

On the bar end mirrors, I used the Triumph Thruxton kit. I had to drill out the holes a little as the Guzzi bar end bolts are a bit larger but it is a very good fit and they work well. I did not want to spend the big bucks on the high dollar stuff. They stay in position, I can actually see out...

What did you do to your Moto Guzzi today?

Did about a 100 mile lap of the hills after doing my 600 mile service a couple of weeks ago. The old girl found some new power above 5K RPM ??????? Thanks for not pulling me over. Marc
