FORKS! How to fill with oil and re-assemble?

Thanks! I don't know how many times that I would have read the manual and still messed this up! And thinking about it, doing it the way that I was trying to assemble the 'sleeve' in the 'stem' would have been impossible! A tiny bit of discussion and a nights sleep (woke up a few times with it on...

FORKS! How to fill with oil and re-assemble?

OK here's the back story. I have a 2011 Stelvio. Had a fork oil leak on one leg. Didn't take care of it soon enough and didn't know how much oil that I may have leaked. Figured that I would pull them apart, replace seals, fill with fresh oil and move on. To begin with I bought the wrong size...

2011 Stelvio Centerstand center stand problem

I called Empire Cycle in Spokane, where I bought the bike. Tony, the service guy, has ordered a replacement and says that M-G will make it right! He's supposed to call me when it arrives.

2011 Stelvio Centerstand center stand problem

I 'ruined' my centerstand this morning. Stopped to put gas in the tank, tried to put bike on centerstand and bent the arm! I've put the bike on the stand numerous times with no issue. NOT heavily loaded or anything--was on my way to work... When the right foot of the stand is on the ground...

    Rear light - LEDs out

If it's two pieces and glued most of them on other bikes use a hot glue type compound. A low oven will loosen the hot glue and the two halves separated, most of the headlight assemblies are the same way. Does M-G do it that way? I don't know, yet...

    Finding the right tires

What year bike do you have? Different years have different size rear tires due to different rim widths. My 2011 Stelvio has 5.5" rims with 180/55-17 tires. It is more difficult to locate tires in this size...

THANKS! Your post says so much more in a couple of lines than a couple of hours of reading with much frustration. Have a GREAT DAY!

    New to Guzzi!

I see a bunch of back and forth relative to whether the mpg is reported in US or Imperial gallons and not one link that tells how to change the values... I searched before, and used yours, and still don't have an answer. Oh well, I'll figure it out...

    New to Guzzi!

So I guess what I read into the silence is ... ...there is no way to change to US gallons for the mpg. When will the U.S.A. ever get on with the metric system? So, if you cannot change to US gallons, is there a way for me to change from Imperial gallons to metric? What would that be l/100km...

    New to Guzzi!

Re: New to Guzzi! & a dumb question, likely followed by othe Are the gallons used for the MPG calculation done by the bike imperial gallons? I cannot seem to find a way to change it! In neutral, get to the menu, settings =>no option for it. ???? I've got an electronic version of the owners...

Highway pegs for Stelvio NTX 2013

I cannot imagine attempting to place my feet forward on this bike unless I had some major bar risers/backs... ...my legs are short, too... They barely reach the ground. Even when I'm just standing around...

    Tank Bag

I cannot answer why he bought what he did. The EVO ring is the important part. If you have the EVO ring on the tank then the EVO ring on the bag will match. I have a setup that I used on my V-Strom that used the old-style SW-Motech tank ring. I called Twisted Throttle (the SW-Motech/Bags...

    New to Guzzi!

Just bought my first Moto Guzzi yesterday! 2011 Stelvio. I am excited to learn about the new bike. I do most all of my own work and will be parting with my Suzuki V-Strom soon. I've eyed the Stelvio since it came to the states. Went to a motorcycle show over the weekend and purchased one a...

    Tank Bag

Howdy BlizzGuzz, So you are saying that we need to order the adapter for the BMW GS and that it will fit our Guzzi Stelvio? I just want to make sure that I order the correct parts. Was it necessary to order the silver portion of the assembly separately from black tank ring? The distributor in...
