I recently picked up a right side Norge side case. It fits perfectly. Keep in mind that the left side Stelvio bag is different - to accommodate the high mount exhaust - from the Norge counter part.
To be clear, do to the Photobucket FU, I have the European ABS bags that are not available in...
Does anyone know if the panniers from a Norge will fit a Stelvio? They look so similar - At least the right side does. The left side pannier of the Stelvio is much different due to the placement of the exhaust.
I need a replacement of the right side and I've seen some come up on ebay but am...
If I'm reading Daniel's Maintenence Chart for "Wheel Nipple Tightening" correctly
(here: https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/190/10971.html)
You're to inspect them every service interval and according to the note (1), before every journey.
For my bike, which will never see any road surface less...
Re: Suspension links - needle bearings - maintain and protec
As I look at your sketch, and imagine the vertical movement of the lower link, it appears to me that there would be some interference if the suspension is compressed too far. Then again, maybe I'm not viewing your drawing correctly. :)
I couldn't get the plug cap to pop off using the screwdriver. I could see the spark plug & cap through the port that is just above the exhaust pipe. But I couldn't get it to slide off the plug. :( Ended up using the zip-tie under the cap tip.
I did something different that what others have...
Not just a Oz problem. I had it happen to me in the US.
After waiting a month finally got the hand guard 'kit'. Guess what... two left hand guards. Going to call the dealer when they open Tuesday.
I think this is a Moto Guzzi issue, not a dealer caused problem. The 'kit' containing all...
Nice write up Leafman. I do better with pictures. Thanks.
One question, Any idea how well the wire will stay attached? It looks like you must pull on the wire to disengage it from the spark plug.
These cases are not available in the US. However, I've been told that they can be obtained, but I have not received a response to my question of "How much?".
My friend Martin (AF1-Windy) has been trying to help with a set from the UK. So far no luck.
I just had a thought that the cases for...
Being an owner of a new Stelvio, and living in the North-wet, I'm concerned that this issue may be in my future...
Has anyone looked into the cause of this failure? I'm thinking that a contributing factor could be caused buy roughness in the original casting. As a preventative step, I'm...
Here's a better Pic (showing the removal of the extend reflector arm)... Also the new Mistral exhaust and Euro mirrors & turn signals... With the stock muffler at 17 lbs and the Mistral at 6 Lbs, I net a 11 lbs savings located both high and to the rear of the bike :) (Lbs as weighed on my...
On my 2009 Stelvio, it did not have the relay installed in the fuze box. I plugged in a 5-pin relay I had from my V11. I now have the icon on the dash. I plan on installing aftermarket heated grips.
I just purchased a new 2009 Stelvio abt two weeks ago (I'm at the 200 mile mark). I traded in by 2000 V11 sport.
I probably asked the same questions you have going through mind... short version is I am very happy with it. It's more comfortable, faster and better mpg than the V11. The $6000...
