    Sorry to bring this up again, but you say to use steel liners, do you mean steel or cast iron? What rings do you run with Steel or iron liner, can you use the standard rings? Thanks steve

    Thanks for the advice GD and ED. That looks like a cool project GD, your engine spec is about the same as mine so i will give that cam a try. The swing arm in mine is home made from alloy box, but i think it is flexing a bit so i am going to make a new one from steel box, should be easy...

The tank is Ducati 750/900ss, the seat unit is homemade in alloy, swinging arm is homemade from alloy with floating bevel box, exhausts and headers are homemade from stainless. Wheels are Astralites.     I am looking for advice for the best cam for my mk2 le mans based cafe racer. Currently it is 1000cc, carrillo rods, cosworth pistons, gas flowed le mans heads 40mm carbs alloy flywheel, alloy straight cut timing gears, close ratio box and a norris 382 cam. It is a bit too wild for the road...
