In your experience what's easier to get to the wires, panel removal and if yes which side, or lifting the tank would be a more strait approach. How did you connect the GPS, did you use the original MG plug or did you have to modify it. Thanks.

Question for Pete. Is the oil supply of the new Cali better than the current 8V engine? I don't want to hijack the tread, curious about making progress with the new engines.
The good news is that they admitted that there is a problem. Many K1600 BMWs pull to the left with hands off the steering, however BMW official version is that the bikes are within specks, so that's normal according to them.
Actually I was thinking the same about the 0W-40. I am in California and weather here is not that cool even in the winter, but I was planning to alternate between the 10W-60 for summer use and the 0W-40 for the winter. There is Mobile 1 0W-40 full synthetic that is the recommended oil for many...
Well, visiting what could be my dealer of choice, a few weeks ago, I was chatting with the guy on the floor about the Griso. He was trying to convince me that the bike has a wet clutch, even though I was discussing the separate gear box and showing him the oil drainage probe. I was wondering...
I am not sure, I will wait on some of the know how people to comment on that one, but I could try to do more homework to find out the answer of your question.
I intend to do my own maintenance of the bike and in search of a more easily available oil filter I found a good discussion on the GuzziTech regarding the oil filter for the 8V engines. However the new California most probably uses a different size oil filter, the code for the OEM filter is...
I was going through the routine maintenance table of the new California and on the top of the list is this: " Drive Shaft - Replace every 70000 km (43495 mi)". I am new to Guzzi and intend to buy the new Cali, however is that a routine procedure to replace the drive shaft that often, or do I...
Good comparo opiumcake, I am interested in the Griso and that's how I discovered the Cali. Doing a test ride tomorrow to evaluate the bike and see how my adrenalin level goes. It's nice to read posts by people with more MG knowledge here. Great forum. Ciao!
