Thanks for the welcome and the access. I'm interested in a comfortable ride so I want to avoid bottoming out or whatever the opposite would be. I also presume that will be easier on the bike so it will last even longer. I'm not a racer by any means and never come close to 10/10's, probably no...
I've about talked myself in to a new V7. I'm a little concerned about the suspension for a 240 pound rider. Is the factory stock V7 Special suitable for general (as in non-racing) riding as is? I've seen mention of various suspension modifications/upgrades/changes/etc. anywhere from a couple...
That's a very cool trip report. I'd love to go to some of those places. I'm not sure how far it would be but if you are remotely near Clarksburg, WV and like Italian at all you should go to Minard's Spaghetti Inn for a meal. It's got a very interesting history and great food.
Thursday I got to go out to MPH and have a look around. Cool bikes, obviously and Mike is as nice a guy as you can want to meet. The shop is clean and organized and it's obvious they pay very close attention to what they are doing to fix it right the first time. I can see why they get all the...
The Griso is a nice bike and I will gladly accept one from anyone that wants to gift one but it's not the one for me. The tank is smaller than I wish and the overall lines/look just don't speak to me the way the others do. Still, it's my favorite MG if someone wants to give me one. :D
One primary use will be a 95 miles round trip ride to visit family. Also random "I feel like a ride for an hour or two" spur of the moment rides. I'm not sure if I'll ever take a long touring ride again. The V7 is probably the far more logical choice and probably the way I'm leaning. If I win...
OK, it's really a trick question in a way. I was thinking about new bikes and which specific new bikes I like and might want to get. I confess there are a few, emphasis on few, other than MG that make it to the primary suspect list. That said, there would be very few, if any at all, that would...
What's the consensus on a 2004 Breva 750? The local dealer has one with 21k miles and a few extras with it for $3550. It's a one owner bought new from them and all service done by them. They have a very good reputation in the community so I'm comfortable it's a well taken care of bike. I just...
That's a beautiful bike. What year is it? I've seen the orange Stelvio on the website but no others with orange as an option. The orange color is almost enough to sway me to a Stelvio instead of a V7. That's a beauty. Congratulations.
Posted this one other place and decided I'd throw it out here also. Hopefully that's ok.
Just joined a couple of weeks ago. Bike history runs from a Honda CT70, Kaw 125, Honda CB400/4 and R100/7. Then about 3 decades not riding. Then last year an FLSTC recently sold to a friend. During that...
