    Breva 1100 Battery discharge

I need to buy a new battery for my breva this week, I'd be intrested to know weather those of you who have already done this have gone for the Yuasa YTX20H-BS as fitted as standard (£115.99 here in the UK) or a cheaper alternative. If so was the cheaper alternative as good? Hi to everybody on...

breva dashboard - clear plastic over tacho cracked

Your not alone, my Breva has had a small crack in its perspex for a couple of years now, due to the cost of a replacement its best to just live with it. Thanks for the Methelyne Chloride tip though. I'll give that a try.

    Cheap Oil Filter Wrench-UK

I've just purchaced this Filter wrench from Halfords, only £6.60 and fits Guzzi oil filters perfectly. Sorry to all those not in the UK, I'm sure there must be cheap alternatives to Guzzi's own special tool available everwhere though.

    B11 neutral switch

Mine neutral light was playing up for a while, I was sure it was the sensor however it just a bad connection between the instrument pannel and its plug. After a bit of contact cleaner and some AFC50 it now fine.

    Norge Service Question

I’m in total agreement with you there. I totally enjoy working on the Guzzi, the car however is a completely different matter. I do maintain the car myself but it’s about as much fun as fixing the washing machine.

    CARC Output seal leak

Thanks Graham I had the recall done some time ago and already change all the oils on every service. I’m now making checking for bearing play and checking the oil level a part of my regular routine. Cheers JB

    CARC Output seal leak

The CARC on my 2005 Breva still seems OK, I've not got any play in the bearings. However this CARC failure issue seems to pop up quite regular here, I've got to say it the only thing about the Breva which really scares me. Spending thousands on a new one takes away the point of a shaft drive...

Oil light on at start up but not always, eminent f

I've had this fault for quite a while now. Its not concerned me much because I'm certain that I've got a sensor fault as indicated by the 07 error code. I've found that if you give the bike a good thrash for ten minutes then stop and restart the engine the fault will clear. So perhaps the sensor...

    Dunlop Roadsmart Mileage and impressions

I've had a set of Roadsmarts on the B11 for about 3500 miles, they seem great so far. I always got on ok with the Z6 too though, I once had a Bridgestone BT020 on the bike and did not think it suited the Breva very well, I hated it in the wet too.

    Broken Gauge Glass

One of our number as recently posted an excellent report with photos attched showing how to dismantle the clocks, I think it was due to water ingress in this case. Do a search of the forum, its quite useful.

    Will I make it?

Looking good, worth the effort for sure. it will be intresting to see how the handling mods turn out.

    Will I make it?

Looking forward to seeing the photos. I've got plans to give my Breva the same treatment next winter, it will be four years old by then so a new finish will get her looking almost new. I've still not got any idea about colours though.

    tank volume?

I often wait for the reserve light to illuminate before fueling. I always end up getting between 19 & 20 liters into the tank. The gauge is always in the bottom half of the red at this point.

    instrument cluster on Breva loose

Thanks Mike, thats a good post, I would recommend anyone reading this to download it from the link above and put it to one side for the future.

    instrument cluster on Breva loose

While on the subject of Breva instrument panels, mines got a crack in it just where the neutral indicator is. Has anybody ever opened up the instrument cluster to replace the Perspex? I’ve got no intention of replacing the whole unit while it still works as I suspect that its just a little bit...

    ECU Swap/PC-V Update --PLEASE READ--

Sounds like a great bit of kit, not for me right now though, house move and new baby to plan for! Getting shut of the Breva Graham, whats going to be next?

    Carked CARC

reading this topic is starting to make me paraniod about my own CARC failing. Think I'll just pop out and check it again.

Norge or Griso broken Fuel pump elbow

It sounds like its the post I put on the old board last year. I broke the so called quick release conector on my Breva while removing the tank for a routine service, the photos show the replacement parts. The brass elbow came out of the ‘odds and sods box’ of my local auto parts supplier, I...
