Any one know of an aftermarket non-locking cap that's available? I did the "file down" thing with a rotary tool twice but now I use a screwdriver to save my key.

dbarb3 sorry to hear about your accident though happy to hear that you have another chance to enjoy bikes. I too came back from a serious accident years ago and have become so much more careful. I can't imagine living happily without riding!

I have the same problem with my 01 Jackal. I shaved the plastic and it worked great for a while (a couple years) then it started sticking again. I've been using a screwdriver to gently remove the cap since I don't want to risk breaking the key and I have'nt gotten around to filing it down again...
Hi, I have a 2001 Jackal with 19000 miles. The tank has a small leak from underneath. Has anyone experienced this and would JB Weld be a good enough solution?

Thanks for your replies! I have Valtek pipes, H-crossover, airbox lid cut/opened. The bike runs great imho. So it looks like I've got some thinking to do ; )

How bad do you think my fuel injected Jackal would run with individual pod style filters in place of the airbox? If the answer is "horrible", would a Power Commander cure the problems? I would be making the change mostly for cosmetic purposes and would like to know if it's do-able and worth the...
