Hi Have not been on for a bit.
Can I put bar end mirrors on it? Has clip on bars. Now has a black cap on end and looks to have threads in bar. Thanks Dolittle

Yes, you can put bar end mirrors on a bike with clip ons.
There are different ways to accomplish it. Part of it depends on the bar end mirrors you use. Some will be easier to fit than others.
Some attach directly in place of the bar ends you have now. Others require an adapter be attached in place of the existing bar ends and they would attach to them. I have heard of some people taking the existing bar ends to a machinist and having them turned down to the correct size so as they replace the adapters that some sets of bar end mirrors require.

The cap you see is the bar end weight, it attaches with a split part with a tapered plug, If you loosen the allen screw a couple of turns then tap on the end I think it will drive the tapered plug back to release the grip.

Some stock bars actually have a threaded bung welded in the end of the bar. In that case you just use that threaded bung to attached the bar end mirror or the adapter for the bar end mirror.
Either way, it can be done.
