Jared said:Photos of last weekend classic festival in Auckland New Zealand. Large field of classic sidecars per 1976. Our Guzzi side car based on T3 850; LeMans heads, 88mm barrels, mild cam, 36mm Dellortos running methol, 8:33 diff, standard gearbox. We won 5 out of 6 races. BMW second, Norton third.
In the open race for solos 5 guzzis were in the top 10 places, good weekend. Colin Seeley the frame master was there, and was so impressed by the Guzzis pace and build, he said it would be cool to race against it on his GP BMW rig he raced back in his day.
At the bottom: I went to a friends shed where he has 7 or 8 round barrel Guzzi, and nearly finished guzzi racer, chrome moly frame, all aluminum body work, 94mm piston kit, RR3 cam, Carrillo rods, balanced crank assembly, twin plug LeMans heads.
