I have not been able to find the specs on the rear shocks. Probably just looking in the wrong places. Does anybody know the stated length and eyelet size? I need another 3/4-1" of rear shock height. I have removed the nubs and plastic sliders but still grind the floor boards awful hard.

Dan, the Tour (idiotically) uses shorter shocks than the Custom/Audace @13.5" - I highly recommend replacements from the Store tab above. ;)

If I ordered shocks that do not have a remote reservoir for a custom instead of the touring then I will gain some clearance? I no longer have the income of my youth therefore this is a bigger decision than it would have been in the past. Wife wonders why I need 3 bikes.
What kind of result would I be looking at with an emulator kit and the GTM 2ws shocks?
We have good roads here with great mountain riding and I also take a couple long interstate (2,000 miles in 3 days) trips every year.

    Hey Dan:
I have a 2016 Audace that I bought brand new from my dealer a few months ago- and my only gripes were that I wished the thing had a little more power and that it had more ground clearance. I reached out to Todd here at Guzzi Tech and he was able to get a set of the GTM 2ws shocks on order in 15" eye to eye. This will give me and inch and a half more shock than stock and raise the rear end of the bike considerably. The shocks are built to your weight and riding style so I can't imagine you'll be losing anything versus the ones that came stock on your bike. I haven't received my shocks yet but I'm looking forward to them. I too like to ride my Audace like it's a sport bike- and this is the first step towards improving its handling. Eventually I'll address the front end too- but for now the longer shocks which should be a bit stiffer too- coupled with the resulting steepening of the head angle should make the bike a bit sharper. Plus it'll look a hell of a lot better too.

If you don't want to go all the way to 15"- I'm sure they can do a 14" or 14.5" but you'll have to ask Todd. It seemed like they were pretty capable.

I have Matris on mine (available through the GT Store) absolutely no issues with grinding since I fitted them. Transformed the ride.

Have the shocks been built to 15" with the corresponding increase in travel stroke, or just with a longer body to raise the rear of the bike?
