The Jan/Feb '22 edition of Motorcycle Classics magazine features this bike and I now want one badly. Although approximately 27,000 were produced from 1956-1965, few made it to the states according to the article.

I've got no problem with incurring the overseas shipping costs but my cursory internet search of the usual suspects yielded nothing.

Anyone know how to go about searching for such a bike?

There are 3 in the Mecum Auction in Vegas end of Jan 2022

Search and check it out.
Thanks but I'm looking for one as a restoration project.
It turns out that I do have a problem with incurring overseas shipping costs (actually the import fees are as much as the shipping) so I purchased this 1965 model from the Mecum auction.

The documentation suggests the blue ones were made for the Italian police. My initial impression is it's 99% complete and, except for the exhaust, all original. It was part of a collection that was auctioned which also included a restored '62 Lodola and '58 Galletto.

On a personal note, thanks for alerting me to the auction. I registered as an online bidder on Tuesday, won it on Wednesday, left for Las Vegas Friday morning, picked it up on Sunday, and got back home Monday nite, a 3,000 mile round trip.

Blue Moon Cycle had one for sale very recently. They may still have it. His restorations are first rate.
