    Hi,
    I bought an 1986 650 TT enduro from a guy that claimed it was the first bike of its model that was imported into the USA. I contacted Moto Guzzi in Italy and had them look up the VIN to see if this was correct, but was told they have never seen that VIN. So my question is whether bikes shipped to the US were given a new VIN.
