Hi there
Just finished working on my 1100 sport 1995 carb gearbox rebuild.
The clutch inner body broke up , causing over adjustment and clutch slippage and leading to clutch shaft bearing wear.
Using guzzi tech archive and john nobles excellent guide.
I embarked upon the 'job'
Head /barrels off to allow engine to be spun around after undoing gearbox.
Gearbox out to inspect damage , clutch shaft bearing broke up and needles in box etc.
New bearings from stien dense and seals from gutsibits.
Relaced layshaft , as wear on splines was excessive.
Quite a big job , but happy with results and ride of my old 40th bitrhday model.
at 6k revs we are certainly getting a move on and with accelerator pump carbs - good old fashioned motorcycling!!!
120km now..
