I’m in urgent need of a remapping for my jackal (open filter, mistral silencers). After days and days of looking true the internet I don’t see the trees in the woods anymore 😳. Found 1 company ho can do the remapping with a power commander, but they can not deliver the power commander. If I search the internet, it’s always for the bassa 2000 and up. I don’t mind investing in one but I want to make sure I have the right one. My jackal has the 15M ecu and no lambda, so what are my options here?? Can someone please guide me in the right direction 🙏🙏.
Thanks 👍

Hmmm, so I'm curious of how you landed here to post after days of internet searching, and you didn't stumble on my decades of work and offerings here or on the GTM STORE tab above, and/or...

That said, your bike is 24 years old. Has a near full restoration been done, and has the bike been interfaced to a computer at all?

I can make them fly, but I cant fix fueling if it it's condition isn't close to 100% (service related items) or doesn't run as best as it can before trying to flash the ECU. It an have intakes leaks, exhaust leaks, dirt throttle bodies and or partially clogged injectors as big picture items).

All said, I can offer ECU flash;

https://gtmotocycles.com/products/gt-motocycles-5am-7sm-reflash-tool (not listed, but works on big block 1.5X ECUs)

OR a Power Commander, but I cant help get the bike running if it's related to condition, service and set up.

https://gtmotocycles.com/products/pc6-with-at200 (not listed, but I can sell you the correct one, and yes I highly recommend AutoTune as well).

hello Todd

Off course I find and reeded a lot of your research. My main concern is that you are in the states and I’m from little Belgium. So I was a bit concerned of making the investment, knowing that I can not bring the bike over if there’s a problem, and not aware if local tuners are willing, are have the knowledge to help me.

As far as far as interfaced to the computer, I don’t know, it’s not happened in the 3 years I’ve owned the bike.

Injectors are cleaned and tested, valve clearance is checked and whiting tolerance, tps settings with in range with volt meter. Throttle body clean and synchronised, no intake leaks, no exhaust leaks, all checked and double checked.

Since I have the bike he hasn’t been smooth in low speed ( les then 70 km/h).” Lurking and backfire troo airfilters I installed mistral silencers and k&n cone filters. Midrange bike was flying but problems in low speed was increased.
Spark plugs were way too white off colour so every fibre in my body is saying I’m driving to lean on mixture.

For now I’ve put the db killer back in the silencers and taped the air filters for 3/4. It’s way better and drive able but not to the point as it should be.

So please Todd if you could contact me and let me know wich way to go, are the best buy true your website for my problem I would be very great full.

Kindly regards
Bart
