Hello Guys
I'm not the greatest technician, and in Switzerland we have enough Dealers - therefore I don't have to maintain the bike by myself. It's winter though, some snow and a shitload of salt on the street, so I don't wanna ride it now the the dealer.
I recent months, my 2018 Audace Carbon began to act weirdly when it Comes down to starting the engine.
1. I can put the key in, turn it, neutral gear, press ignition, it tries to start the engine but dies. I try it again, and it starts. I can't tell why, but it always starts on the second try. Always! How can that happen and what could be the problem?
2. Sometimes, after riding the bike for at least half an hour (engine warm), I can shut the engine down, at gas stations for example. When I turn the key again, the bike starts by itself without pressing the ignition button (only in neutral of course, thanks to the sidestand sensor). Same questions here: How and how to fix it?
I still have warranty, but I don't wanna ride the bike to the dealer only for this and have to wait a few days if it's an easy fix.
Does anyone have made similiar experiences?
Thanks
Andreas
