Hi all,
I'm overhauling the throttle bodies of my california, for the left had an escessive throttle shaft free play. I have good reasons to suspect that the right TB is affected by air "intrusion" due to worn/damaged o-rings. While the dis-assembly, overhauling and re-assembly of the left cyl TB was pretty simple, the right cyl one is proving to be more cumbersome: in fact, in place of the TPS it has a cap that seems very difficult to remove, thus preventing me from taking the throttle shaft out of the TB.
Does any of you know how to remove it or if it hase other tasks other than capping? I thought to destroy the cap and than replace it with a simple cover, but I don't want to make the TB useless should the cap be something more than a "cap". I looked for drawings, with no success.
your help would be much appreciated...
thanks
Mauro
