2007 Norge Follow-up: Is Dash or ECU the Culprit

It is the nature of reconditioned units. Sometimes they work sometimes they need to go back. This takes extra time. I'm familiar with the ABS folks for their work on BMW ABS units. They do good work. My comments were in rearguards to a used dash that you were complaining about and I believe the reconditioned dash. You bought the bike cheap, and are complaining about the time it is taking to sort through the issues. Then comparing Guzzi to Indian or Chinese production. When working on a bike with the issues yours has it takes time, money, and patience. If you wanted a bike to ride now, perhaps you would have been better off purchasing one without these issues. If you don't like my comments, don't read them. I can ignore your posts just as easily.
 
You have to remember that in many of the ECU and Dash circuits, very low current @ 5 volts is used, thus it takes very little resistance in terms of connectors etc to cause a problem.
