According to the Intermot Show, Guzzi is supposed to installed the new 4 valve motor in the Norge.

Is this coming to the US?

Kurt, an announcement of new models will be made next few weeks to the dealers.

I presume they'll stop production of the 2V model, in which case the new one is almost bound to cross the pond...

This just in...

As is fitting with its heritage of classic Italian style and innovation, Moto Guzzi introduces the revamped and improved Stelvio NTX to its model lineup. Based on the Stelvio 1200 - which acquired its name from the famous Alpine pass that connects Italy's Valtelline Valley to the Vinschgau Valley - the Stelvio NTX reaches a record range thanks to a new, 32-litre fuel tank. The Stelvio NTX's aerodynamically designed fairing , backed by Moto Guzzi's renowned V-shaped 90 degree transverse twin-cylinder engine, is perfect for short and long road trips, and will be available in dealerships at the end of 2011. Additionally, Moto Guzzi unveiled the Norge GT8V, which features the latest variation of the Quattro valvole engine. New design elements include, revised suspension settings, new one-piece fairing, new Moto Guzzi customized side panniers and a new saddle shape. The Norge GT8V will be available in the U.S. in the first half of 2011.

So, you'll be able to order the NTX's new fairing by the end of 2011? :silly:

Pete, do you already have the parts pricelist too? I wonder what that Norge 1-piece fairing is going to cost!!

No pricelist as it isn't imported here yet. Texa, (Who provide the woefull 'Navigator') are a separate entity to Piaggio who supply the bikes and spares. We don't yet get the Norge 8V so the importer hasn't priced up all the horrible bits of fragile shit it will be festooned wth.

Pete

Horrible bits for protection against horrible conditions (or so I presume they'd be labelled in Oz)

Just saw some pics of the new Stelvio, and as others who saw the same images, I wonder where they put those additional 14 liters. Maybe there's a typo, and we should read 23 liters?

Since the biggest complaint fom Stelvio owners that I hear is lack of range, bigger fuel capacity would seem to be a big step up. I'm plenty happy with the Norge 2-valve motor (properly fueled), but for sure the suspension needs upgrades. Hope they mean not just "revised suspension settings," but better suspension components, which is what it needs.
