This stand does not left the rear wheel of the ground. Is this a ride off stand? I never had a bike with one so I am hesitant to try it. Thanks

I've never seen a V7 center stand in real life, but for those who have some photos would probably be useful in crafting a reply.

I looked at the thread because I just ordered a Euro side stand. (https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/oem-v7-euro-side-stand/)
The OEM US V7 side stand has a slight bend forward (when deployed/lowered) that makes for a very solid triangulation, but the bend also lowers the foot of the stand (when retracted/raised) reducing ground clearance when riding.

hmm..unless your shock is way longer for whatever reason, the V7 OEM Centerstand DOES lift the rear tire off the ground.

I have one, so I know it does.

As for side stand, when you go Euro, make sure you always kick it a few time before letting the bike down...

This is very good advice.

I haven't found the Euro side stand to be unstable, but one does need to be more cognizant when setting it and when positioning the bike. The kick test that you recommend seems to be a useful habit to develop.

This was a habit that my friend has passed on to me as he has an MH900e (beautiful bike) which its side kick will FULLY RETRACT once the bike is stand straight up due to its design.

As I start to have this habit now for my Guzzi, this habit actually also saved my bacon last weekend when I test rode a Multistrada one of the dealer test ride...it wasn't fully deployed the first time and it would had been a big OOPS if I didn't decide to kick it a few more time.

spend the few more seconds, save you a few hundred $$$ of oops.
