    Hi, all -

I'm new here, considering my first Guzzi... can anyone tell me whether they're 50 state? (I'm in California, looking at a new V7 from out of state, and just want to make sure there won't be any hassles when I go to register it here!)

    Appreciate any help!

Welcome to the Forum. Yes, V7's are 50-state legal, but to insure before purchase... Ask the dealer to confirm that the emission sticker under the seat clearly states CA Emission Approved.

    Stupid question...

Since Moto Guzzi are 50 state legal, wouldn't all bikes be manufactured, shipped and sold under the approved CA emissions as it is the most strict of all states? Pretty sure that's how it works here in the land of snow.
