Hey folks, I'm brand new to motorcycles and I just picked up a new 2018 V7 iii Stone and need to get some engine guards. So far I've looked at the Agostini Crashbars and the Givi Engine Guards. Any advice on these or any other upgrades would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! -Jen

I purchased the OEM ones. Part# 2S000914. They were fairly easy to install on my V7III, and they have a subtle appearance, which I appreciate.

You should be able to google some options. I think it would be poor form to link to other shops on the GT forums. I’d usually recommend buying from GT if it’s an option, just because the forum here is so helpful, and Todd is a nice guy. He may even be able to source those OEM bars for you, or offer other useful thoughts.

I have the Agostini on mine. Dealer-fitted. There were some questions about the fitting in terms of the gap between cylinder head and crash bar - but Agostini confirmed this is intentional. They use these on their rental bikes.

Sorry I stumbled upon this forum and didn’t realize it was also a shop. I’ll check them out and I’ll definitely be a customer!
Thanks Jen, and the fact that you are in L.A. puts you in easy reach of our shop in Orange, with drop off at my home office in Malibu. Click on the Service link above for more info as well.

I've got the Agos and they were a dog to fit. Much cursing in the workshop! Got them on and the bar is very close to the right hand barrel (due to the offset) but got there in the end. They are ideal for daytime running lights. Finish is good, so far, and they have been on for almost a year. Use lots of Copperthread or similar when you put it all back together.
