Ever since i bought the Centenario. Its been a little bit squirly when changing lanes or driving over HOV markings on the pavement.

I just assumed the stock tires were absolute crap, As I never had this issue with my other bikes other then in rare instances.

Then this past week the temperature varied from 10°C to 1.5°C. First and second gear were seriously bogging up past 3000rpm. To the point where I nearly got rear ended when I changed lane and I unexpectedly had nearly no engine power.

This morning I changed the MGCT setting from 2 to 1. All my issues seem to have been solved.

The bike is no longer squirly on painted markings / lines. Nor is the engine bogging down. This is my first experience with traction control on a motorcycle... I think ill be turning it off entirely.

Would it not still be under warranty? Have you spoken to your dealer about this?

My traction control works perfectly on my 2020 V7III so it's likely yours has a fault of some kind...or something else causing it not to work properly.

Sincerely, Charlie

On my V7III I find setting 2 too sensitive and leave it on 1. You could also try reset the TC as described in the manual.

What Andy says above... and also be sure to check/set your tire pressure often (I'm often shocked as to how low of pressure that tons of bikes arrive at my shop with). This has been well covered here in regards to your issue.

Mine arrived on the "2" setting. As Deadeye says, it was, let's say sensitive (hopeless). I think it was the first mod I did was to set it to "1." Have yet to feel it cut in at all, but then, I'm not what you might call a spirited rider!
