Just have had my 30.000km inspection and service done by my dealer.
I always thought that the bike handling was a bit rough and I also had 2 sets of front tyres with uneven wear. First I thought it might be the tyre, but when I noticed it the second time I remembered having read something in the forum (do not recall the author) about different oil levels in the fork pipes. Because the mechanic wasn't finished, when I got there to collect my bike, I witnessed the removal of the fork and oil change. Surely enough - I recon in the right fork was only half the amount of oil of what was in the left pipe. No wonder, this might be it, I thought. Handling immediately was much better, even with the slightly dodgy tyre in the front. A week later I changed my tyres from the Metzeler Z6 to Battlax 021 and a new world opened up. The bike handles like never before .
That's good.
Not so good.
It started happening on my late trip through France. First it happened when the engine was boiling hot. The starter motor wouldn't turn, you could hear the relay clicking but it wouldn't turn. Then later it also started happening in cold condition.
Anybody here who had something similar?
