I've looked very hard at those videos, but from the (relative) lack of Guzzis, can one conclude that this event is organised for riders of the other brands while the Guzzisti remain at home to live 36 hours of marque sovereignty on their streets ???

:silly:

Let's be fair here, I can usually name a bike from it's back end, my 6 year old son always ask's.......but from that vid, who knows.
Probably a good ride out, get on the bike and ride, what ever the make, join in and enjoy.

You are right!
The event is organized by the Greek Moto Guzzi Club, but is open to anyone.
The Club does not have enough members for such a large participation.:(
Still among the ~200 bikes, there will be around 30 Guzzis.
I will give you more details after the event!
Just to give you an idea of the situation here in Greece, Moto Guzzi sold a total of 22 bikes during the first three months of 2009, and that was an INCREASE from last year... The total for last year was 93 bikes.

Sorry if I seemed grumpy, I expected that sort of situation. I guess I was quite surprised that the video artist hadn't sought to pick out exactly those 30 or so Guzzis!

NICE! Beautiful presentation as well. Thanks for posting. Looks like I have to add one more ride to my life journeys.

Is there a way to view the photos as a slideshow, or to browse through them rapidly and at a size larger than a poststamp...?

Since your forum is well known here in Greece among the local members of the MG Club, we will be very pleased to see you participate. Maybe you should combine it with your holidays. :woohoo:
If you really want to do it, we can arrange to give you one MG bike belonging to one of our members, or one demo bike from Piaggio Greece, so you will be able to enjoy it.
This year we had a guy from France participating (No, he wasn't RJVB :) ).

Thanks, Tasso, that's too much service! MP sent...

The guy from France wasn't guzzyo (Lionel), by any chance? I know he's been wandering quite a bit on his Stelvio, lately...

I will take you up on that. This event is the same weekend every year?
