3rd annual italian/ euro motorcycle weekend at two wheels

things I accomplished:

ECU flash, slip on, decat y pipe, bagster tank cover, forks refilled with 15w fork oil. o2 sensor delete, throttle bodies balanced. all fluids changed out, runs great.

Bone stock except for a MPH Hard Start Setup, NOS Helibars I got from a gentleman here, and the right side center stand bolts and springs which jettisoned themselves off on her maiden voyage 2 months ago, since replaced with OEM parts.

I just acquired her last October with less than 4,500 miles or thereabouts.

Also came with OEM never used, luggage liners and factory tank bag. 🙂

She runs absolutely perfect. Smooth, powerful, and sure-footed. I do love her very much.

our mountainrunner group has 2 fjr's, triumph street triple, aprilia dorsoduro, a concours, and me either on the dorsoduro or norge.
our home base is sanran motel in robbinsville nc

I just moved to Sautee Nacoochee, 6 miles from Helen and 35 miles from TWoS. This Tuesday I am going to pick up a 2014 California Touring. This will be my 3rd Guzzi, but the only one in the stable. I also have a Triumph Tiger 1050. I have been coming up here from Savannah GA for 20+ years and decided it was time to move up here while I still can. Retired and loving life. I plan on riding over for the Guzzi get together this month.

348, 180 will become your best friend. 180 dumps out at two wheels suches. pm if you want to ride this upcoming weekend.

I am very familiar with those roads, the weather looks to be great too, I plan on riding this weekend. I just moved here 4 weeks ago and it has rained every day, now finally it looks like a few days of dry weather.

I was just at TWoS for the Concours Rally Run with the Wolf, which I was a rallymeister for 8 years, a COG member for 22

Let me know your plans and we can meet up

Uhm.. Can I ask what State the Cali 1400 your buying is in ( hopefully not the same bike I've been holding out on!). Seems like a quite a few Guzzi riders have a triumph in the stable also!
