G,Day
I have recently purchased a 850 lemans and loving it. Have had a number of Guzzi,s and still own a MK V.
I have experienced a large amount of oil being dumped via the crankcase breather box. At first i thought i might have been too generous when filling with oil and overfilled the sump.
The motor has 170 psi both cyclinders
I have measured accurately 3 ltrs in oil.
The motor is running sweet and no smoke from either cylinder.
Happened again this morning and now a Tad frustrated. Any ideas/input would be appreciated. Cheers

Most of mine run a bout 1/2 way on stick, it'll level out where it likes it. Make sure your box works correctly or replace it. Maybe spring under disc is broke. Did it leave a spot after running hard? You could also put a spacer on pan like my LM3.

Guzzi specifications tend to over fill the crankcase. Try just using 2.5 L on an oil change. Should put you about half way on the dipstick.

Agree with everyone about 2 1/2 liters in the stock crankcases , I only run 3 with my extended sump .
Also 170 psi isn't particularly high by Le Mans 2 standards , stock mine was closer to 210 psi . So there could
be a bit of sump pressurizing . But hell if it runs well and doesn't smoke , keep having fun with it (and try
lowering the level ) . Peter
