Hello all! I just signed on here. I brought home a semi basket V11 EV a few years ago and I've just been tripping over it. I got after it a couple of weeks ago and put the thing back together the best I could.

This is how it looks right now. The main wiring harness apparently shorted and much of the wires were in bad shape. I sourced another harness on eBay and set out to replace it.

These braided breather lines aren't going to get it, are they? I can't get it out of the way of the throttle cable. All of the breather hoses are this braided stuff. I assume none of it is OEM.

Here'a connector that needs a home. :?:

What is this little red light for and where does it go?

I think there are four of these. What goes where?

Maybe I'll leave it right here for the moment. I don't need to go overboard with my first post.

Regards,
Marty

The only braided line should be from the fuel tank to fuel pump. There is a Ford part that will fit for the breather hose, check the archive. As for the dangling connector, there are some that aren't used. If you have tail and brake lights that that connector isn't for that. Carl's schematics in the downloads should help. The red indicator mounts to the right and in front of the ECU. When a shorting plug is inserted into the ECU test connector it will give a series of flashes that correspond to error codes that are listed in the P8 injection manual. Also for the last question you will need Carl's schematic. The color codes should tell you. I see you are in near Rider's Hill. If all else fails take it there or contact Steve in Atlanta. He is on this forum as V700Steve.

Yes, the reflectors are listed with the lighting. The parts book just does not indicate where they are mounted. Close scrutiny of the caliper bolt and part in hand indicates that that is the mounting spot. Thanks.
