1.) Came really close to selling the 2009 Stelvio. Put it out on Craiglist and when I started receiving emails asking to see her...I couldn't bring myself to reply. I had convinced myself to sell the MG and buy a Honda (cb1100) since the closest MG dealer is +1hour away, my warranty expired last year and lets face it Honda vs. MG reliability is a no-brainer. And no one in Toledo will touch an Italian bike--trust me I've tried. So far I've had a few of the well documented issues. ...

1. Spark plug caps arc
2. Melted headlight coupling
3. Speedo sensor goes crazy or quits working all together when wet.
3. Condensation in the instrument panel--Took it to the dealership while under warranty and MG said they wouldn't replace it. So the longer I keep it the greater my chances of having to flip the bill myself since the warranty has expired. I'm guessing that is going to be a thousand bucks.

With that said she's still as sexy as the day I met her.

So how much is a new instrument panel? And can I coat the speedo sensor with silicon while on the bike or do I have to take the rear wheel off? There is a slot on the top that I can reach with the tire on the bike if that's where it needs resealed. Lastly, I'm going to cross my fingers this June and drive her to Madison (biz-cation) for training. Plan on having 15K service done while I'm there. Were there any recalls issued other than the cam replacement?

1. $5 each, I have them on the Store here (problem solved); https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/ngk-sb05e/
2. Replace yourself, or might be part of the recall. Did you check?
3. Yes, well covered in a search. Essentially, just silicone where the wire goes into the sensor.
4. Instrument panels can be repaired by Carmo overseas. I think ~$250-500 range + shipping if and when it ever fails.
