After some unsealed road my ABS and MGCT warning lights came on and stayed on. The MGCT light flashed fast at certain revs throughout. I stopped the bike and had a look at the ABS tone sensors and noticed the rear wheel sensor was less than 1 mm off the tone wheel. This seems too close as in the manual it says 2-3mm. How do I adjust it? I did take out the machine bolt and had a look all seemed fine. Then screwed it back in and it sat back at 1 mm from the tone wheel. Wasn't aware of any damage, I did take it easy on the unsealed roads. Also noticed that the MGCT is kicking in when I down shift. Could this all be affected by the one problem? Any help would be appreciated. Pat

Yes Both can be from that sensor. Can you get a 1mm shim to move the sensor out to the correct gap?
thanks John, I did think of doing this and may try this, but I just think the whole unit holding the break caliper has somehow shifted a little and may need shifting back. thanks again, Pat

Hi John, just put the shims in and it has worked. All warning lights are off. Thanks Pat

Well that's a treat to be repaired for next to nothing . And I wouldn't of imagined that being
only 1 mm away would cause a problem . Too far and a corresponding weak signal I could see ,
but 1 mm too close ? Wonders never cease :) .

I guess I had my hopes up, it did last for a day but actually the problem is back and now I've got no speedo reading! The bike is less than a year old. Waiting for my mechanic to come back from Christmas holidays.

At least it should be covered under warranty.
