Here is a picture of my B-11. I cut down the windshield till the turbulence around my helmet subsided (probably 4" or more).
Then I painted the backside of the windshield red to match. Gives you a perfect glossy finish on the front side. (Did the belly fairing too.)
Looks like part of the bike, rather than an accessory. That windshield was definitely not developed in the windtunnel

If the windshield I tinted, you can only do black, as the tint will alter the color.
