I'm putting together a loop frame Guzzi from parts. Basically I'm starting from scratch.
I have a loop frame engine (needs to be rebuilt) and would like to convert to the front mount alternator as used on the Tonti framed bikes.
Is it just a matter of replacing the timing cover and getting a crankshaft from a T-3 or something? The engine has timing gears, not a timing chain. I have a Bosch alternator That I'd like to use
I'm undecided as about the ignition. Any advise or suggestion would be welcome.
