Just attempted my first slip on install last week and screwed up one of the gaskets. Went to the dealer and was told that it would take 3-8 weeks to get the gasket. Mgcycles didn't have it in stock and it was about 35 plus shipping.

Apparently the kawasaki 110091637 exhaust would also work. It's in stock at most local kawasaki dealers and it's about $22

Thank for this info. So you have it and tried it and it fits? They certainly are tough to get out of the stock mufflers, and will definitely be damaged in doing so... so that's a good tip once verified here (please). Thanks for posting.

Excellent, thank you for posting! I've pinned this to the top of this section.

The Kaw part replaces the bushing between the front of the muffler and the back end of the pipe, is that right?

Yup, it replaces that steel gasket between the slip on muffler and the header.

Didn't notice. Saw the price and got excited  I checked the part number and found several at Kawasaki parts houses. That is a good find because even having to pay $40 (ouch) for some gaskets feels good compared to the Guzzi price. I'll try and pay more attention next time.

Try 11060-1068 which is an alternative part number for the previous one.

I got one from powersportsplus. $20.00 with shipping.
One from my dealer was $29.00

Sounds like I should plan on buying new gaskets when replacing my exhaust soon? Will they usually always get damaged when removing the mufflers? Thanks.

If you buy my exhaust/mufflers, no... no need. I do not use these. These oversized fibrous gaskets are to compensate for fast, imprecise production.

Ok sounds good Todd. Looking forward to receiving the full system when it's complete! :)
