Hello Guzzi Forum people . Ive just bought an `85 V1000 SP 11 from Trademe. You probably saw it .Soon it`ll be here for me to enjoy . Ive never owned a Guzzi , havnt ridden one yet either.
Ive always had bikes , since I was 15. Royal Enfields ,Nortons,500 spring heel, 650 SS, 750 Atlas , and Commando 850, and Suzuki TL 1000S , VZ1400 , VZ1600 , VX 800 presently the only bike I own. The buggrs get into your blood and you're never the same again, Im 61 now .
I'm guessing there are a few little quirks that I'll need to adjust to , like integrated braking and engine torque .
The model I've bought has a 16" wheel at the front and 18" at the rear, any comments about this would be cool.
Lately I've been watching the transfer of info and general input that is tabled on this forum and I figured that , well , over time I may be able to help someone else with any "Norton" questions they may have , or just general info I`ve developed over the years of biking.
Its good to be aboard , L8r

Welcome supaflee ;) I dont think you will find the SP 11 too difficult to get to know. The 16" front seems to have been covered a few times over the years (do a search)and seems to centre around setting up the tyre preasures and finding tyres to fit.
I found this one in the tonti section https://www.guzzitec...97&t=7307&hilit=16 front wheel#p54610

What he said, plus steering head bearings. And if it has a steering damper make sure it's working properly.

I left a couple of bikes out , On two separate occasions I had an MZ 660 Scorpion.
One was standard , the other ,,,,,,,far from it , wow what a heap of fun they are.
Ive still got a heap of Tacho , Speedo , Instrument Loom Parts if anyone wants 'em ????
