Greetings friends,

I am Anthony Martello. I've been lurking here quite a while now when not over in other parts. Thought I'd try to get a little thread going about motorcycles. I have been riding Moto Guzzi's since 2002 when I bought my first. Still have it! A pretty cool 2001 V7 Sport. And yes, things i can say about Guzzi is, if you don't want to work on your own bike don't get a Guzzi. If you enjoy custom or race bikes a Guzzi will be just right for you. Guzzi is a bike. If you enjoy custom or race bikes a Guzzi will be just right for you. I've enjoyed every road race, track day and enduro.

Looking forward to have more gossip with you. See you there in the next topic.
Thanks,
Anthony Martello.

Anthony, welcome to the Forum. 2001 V7 Sport? Did you mean V11 Sport?

Your recap is a good one, though once set up, they often offer exceptional life, even when ridden hard. My (bought new) '00 Jackal has given me near care-free 150k miles (only a voltage regulator failure & transmission gear keeper nut failure), including track time as shown below in my signature. I own a garage full of Guzzi now, and while I do own a few other marques, I'll never not have several in the garage. My next foray is into the older bikes, like a Falcone or even a Dondolino which I had the pleasure to race in '03;

Post often, and again welcome.
