After a favour from a 1200 8v Griso owner. Want to customise my griso headers with an Auckland exhaust company but they need a griso to get the correct measurements etc. If there is someone up there in Jaffa land that could help me out by taking there bike in for measuring would be most grateful. cheers Barry Oamaru.

Hi Barry,

I am about to purchase a Griso 8V. Should have by the weekend. Ready for Paeroa.

I live in West Auckland, Waitakere City. (Far West, not Jaffa land in my books B) )

Where is the exhaust shop you plan on getting your job done ?

Cheers.

Hi There. Its called custom chambers in East Tamaki. Sorry about the Jaffa reference probably just jealous about all the bike shops you have up there. Thinking about getting some of those twisty headers they make. Good bikes but have a few generic problems such as instruments fogging up and headers rusting, but then that's the joy of owning a bike with soul. Have been thinking about selling my 2011 8v 3500k looks nice in white. Want $15000. If u have any questions about the griso happy to help but I guess plenty of info on this site. Cheers Barry :D

Hi Barry,

I live on west side of town, East Tamiki a bit out of my way. Though should I be heading that way in the near future will let you know. Not somewhere I go, normally head in to the big smoke or stay out West. They possibly would have one at Red Baron in the city, Only Guzzi dealers up here are them and NV Motorcycles in Morrinsville, where I have just purchased mine. Hour and a half South.

If I think of alterative will let you know.

Cheers.

get some "POLARIS STAINLESS STEEL REVIVER"(450 gram white plastic jar with blue top from) Pack n Save for about $12.00 and use it on your rusty headers headers-works great on my 1200 sport.
