Was wondering if anybody was planning to do the SoCalnorton run this Sunday to Ojai (Guy Websters open day). Saw the pic's posted from last year and thought you'd be doing it again, but haven't seen anyone put up a post for it.
Weathers looking better with each passing hour, sunny/cloudy 62 degs forecasted at the moment (accuweather).
Easy for me i'm up this way (Ventura), so i'll be there along with a couple of buddies both on BSA's. I'll keep an eye out for the Guzzi's....

just watch that road after rain it has some sm river that cross the road abouve s/p ILL BE DOING A RIDE OUT TO GUYS AGAIN SOON

Damn, that's this weekend?! I'm headed for Santa Barbara today through tomorrow for some off-road riding.

Really drives me crazy when a cool ride like this gets posted last minute. By the time I see it, it's too late.
(OOPS-BRAIN FADE, SAW THIS SATURDAY AM, RIDE SUNDAY, AT FIRST THOUGHT SAME DAY, MY BAD. WHEN YOU'RE RETIRED, DAYS ARE ALL THE SAME....)
Looking at the Norton club calendar, reminds me how much I liked it for the destination rides to cool places that the local Guzzi guys mostly avoid in favor of local canyon scratching. Wonder how they feel about non-Brit bike folk joining them on these things? Nothing wrong with local canyon scratching course-sometimes I just want to go someplace a bit further away.

March 6-8 – Death Valley Weekend

April 12 – Mt. Palomar Ride

June 5-7 – Big Sur Weekend

July 19 – Wrightwood, the Hot Way

August 15 – Prince of Darkness Ride

September 11-13 – High Sierras Weekend

October 11 – Inland Empire Ride

Nov. 1 – 30th Annual Hansen Dam All Brit Ride

Dec. 4-6 - Tucson to Tombstone Ride

Dec. 31 – 23rd Annual New Year’s Eve Ride

Course we're doing our on Tucson-Tombstone thing, more or less, aka Outlaw ride.

Anybody besides me interested in any of these things? A casual look at my calendar shows no conflits with Guzzi events.

Bob, you're the retired one now, post away. ;)

Perhaps BobberBill will surface, but I'm sure they won't mind a few Italians along for the ride(s). I'll send Bib a note, and see if he's interested in/minds having us join along on some of them.

With everyone's time becoming less and less do-able, the destination rides seem like a good idea. Once/month, somewhere new. Sounds fun to me.

I've been friends with Bib for 12-13 years (he's ~100 yards down the street from me). I've never owned a Norton (even though he keeps reminding me that he always has some up for sale), and haven't had a Brit bike for 40 years. He doesn't care whether you ride British or not just as long as you ride...

Mike, if you see Bib, can you ask him if he's interested in a bit of promotion his way from the SoCal-Guzzi Group? Tell him we'd like to join him on a few rides this year. I'll send him a direct note as well.

How's everybody at so. cal guzzi doing? Seem's like this site been real quiet lately, anyway my son Chris and I will going to Ojai with a bunch of our co worker's on various types of bikes. This time I'll be riding my modern bike(2003 roadstar) because I don't want to get caught in the rain on the fenderless bobber. Will be skipping breakfast at the catcus patch in favor of Denny's due to the small size and wait time at the Patch, don't get me wrong they have great food and service, but depending on the size of the group ,It could take a while. Hope to see some of the Guzzi Crew there.Bobberbill out!

Just wanted to mention that today was really fun. Guy had a couple of bikes that weren't there last summer/fall. And Mike Taggart's collection of British bikes is just something else! Sorry, no pix from me; didn't think to bring the camera - maybe someone else did. Saw 220 & Bobberbill. And I got a fun backroads ride in an M3.

I know 220'll post when the 2-strokers go up there. It's worth seeing!

i got some cool photos but the size r to big anyway i have the ok to have a day 4 my 2 stroke club and you guzzi guys to have our own day the new british bike are realy cool ill work out the detail soon
