• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

Anyone by the Finger Lakes in NY?

I live half way between the Finger Lakes and the Pennsylvania hills. Gorgeous roads if you don’t mind twisties and rolling hills.

Anyone around my neck of the woods? Id love to attend a Guzzi meet next summer.

Even though Finger Lakes are gorgeous it is not until you get into Pennsylvania that the fun starts. The Forksville (covered bridge, awesome cheesesteak subs), Eagles Mere, Painted Rocks, End of the World park, Canton, Grover, Shunk areas are worth the visit.

Yes, thank you Raven. That triggers a memory about a Swedish (?) restaurant in Mount Jewett. Looked like a library and a living room and a pharmacy put together. Café Sol? Something like that, great place.
Next time I’ll venture further west. I appreciate the tip.

I went down to Hartford CT. For work a few years back and took all the backroads I could, to get there, some were under construction at the time, but it was Great !
I’ve sworn I would do them again thé the bike…
I haven’t yet, Maybe this year now that I have time !

.

My Moto Grappa is at the top of Virginia, i.e., about 30 miles from the Pennsylvania line.

Have a great Guzzista friend in Rochester; Bob was actually a Guzzi dealer in Berliner days!

I and others ride up his way -- and vice versa -- frequently. Grand roads the whole way.

WRT Finger Lakes, spent a weekend in Hammondsport on Keuka Lake last summer with Bob and Dr. John ... not THAT Dr. John, but another Guzzista of the first rank!

Fine moto-roads aside, but, as you likely already know, the Glenn Curtiss museum -- https://glennhcurtissmuseum.org -- is worth the ride by itself.

Bill
