On the dyno... Closed loop seeing high 15's to max 17.3 AFR in closed loop as delivered. Yikes. More tonight.

I just witnessed the failure of the Fat Duc 02 plug in resistor on the dyno... less then 30 seconds is all it took. Save your money.

Any chance we could get that in English??

It must be overly lean, there should be no reason for pinging if it was properly mapped. the bore is not THAT big, and with dual plugs to boot...

I find the fuelling is smooth in general, but that motor runs hot. As soon as the ambient temperature is around 28-30 C. it will ping if you are the least bit trigger happy. I would love to have it run richer, there must be this massive flat spot in the lower revs.

As soon as I can get in front of a real key board (typing on my phone), I'll post all of the details. DynoJet (not DynoTech), wanted to test their prototype 02-controller, it did a nice job on revising the fueling, but kept throwing an error code (! Warning on dash). The FatDuc resistor under steady cruise dropped fueling to off the scale rich numbers at idle and lower throttle settings after 30 seconds, though it did not throw the error code.

What is important to state right now, is the Dynojet will *NOT* be releasing the PC-V until their 02-controller is ready. HOWEVER, I will be doing a limited run of PC-Vs soon, pre-order only for those who order my full ECU exchange kit. I'll need a minimum of 50 unit deposits. Please spread the word. I'll post details under seperate heading.
Also, the AutoTune module is brilliant... gives real-time, full time fueling revisions as you ride.

More later today.
