Audace LED headlamp

I just browsed the Motorcycle Online website and they had a review of the Adaptive headlight mentioned earlier in this thread...

Seems interesting:)

Thanks to those posting before about this!

What size is the Audace headlight. Is it 5 3/4 inch or 7inches? I haven't got my bike yet but am looking at options already.

Got this LED off Amazon. Used expanding foam to stick it to the headlight bezel ring. Think I might black out the bezel ring next.

I just installed a ‘drop in’ LED headlight bulb from Ledperf. The Audace headlight bucket has a flat spot, in the middle, at the back. For no apparent reason on this bike, Moto Guzzi put a convex shape that partially is in that flat spot. That intrusion held the led just mm from letting the headlight seat. I took a heat gun and a wooden handled screw driver. Heating the ABS plastic for maybe a minute allowed me to use the end of the rounded wooden handle of the screw driver to push the intrusion back. The drop in LED worked like a charm. The bulb is the black one from Ledperf. They list another, silver, that doesn’t work, way to long. Boy are LEDs bright!

I went to the LEDPERF site and there are quite a few options available. Which one did you use?

If you search Ledperf’s site, Audace, it is a black bodied one listed as Premium. There is a pic of an Audace. Originally they had two listed as fitting the Audace. I got the cheaper one and it turned out to be to long. I pointed this out to them and they sent me the black ‘mini’ that fit with a bit of heat and pressure to make room at the back of the bucket. It’s been in there two years now and works fine. They did not charge me the difference in price and were very responsive.

I am getting a Baak LED 7” Full LED Headlight Side Mount fitted, I will upload pics once completed, also fitting Oxford LED front indicators and Komine Heated Grips. The heated grips are a must have for winter riding.
