Hi all,

I've done a bit of searching and can't find this - how many Brevas were made each year?

The reason I ask, ICBC here in BC has a special 'limited production' category for insuring bikes 15 years or older, if less than 1500 were made.

My Breva is an 07, so it's coming up on that age, and looking at the total numbers of bikes Guzzi produces, it seems possible that there were less than 1500 B11s made.

Thanks,
Tobin.

I would think only the factory would have that information from 13 years ago.

Given that I believe they only produced 6 different models that year, (Breva 750, Breva 1100, California Vintage, Griso 1100, Nevada 750, Norge 1200 GT), I am pretty sure they probably made more than 1500 of them for worldwide sale.

The 1100 Breva was only made for 2 years, 2005 & 2006. Then the Moto Guzzi Breva 1200 Sport appeared in 2007. Other than the USA, I think the word Breva was dropped on the 1200 Sport. But I could be wrong (again!).

it's possible, but I've found information suggesting Moto Guzzi only made 7000 motorcycles total in 2006.

I don't know what the total was in 2007, but if it's close, spread across 6 different models... it could be?

I cant tell you how many they made, but i had 06 1100, slightly under powered and a few other small niggles but basically a really good bike. Then the 1200 came out with 10hp more and those few niggles sorted, so of course i had to have one. Cant remember if it was an 07 or 08 model now, but just the basic Breva, not the sport version, and it was a great bike, very under rated by the so called experts, but for those who had one very rewarding. :)
