Balancing rear wheel

Any tips on getting the rear wheel on my B1100 balanced after having new tyre fitted as the wheel would not fit on the tyre company balancing machine
 
I've been statically balancing wheels for ~30 years, even at a Pro racing level. Nothing is faster and more accurate. They do make a pricey adapter for a static balancer; nomartirechanger.com/bl-largecones.html
I would suggest find a better shop. I might put my 3D printer to work to make some (far less pricey) adapter cones to sell on the Store link above, if there's interest.

Anyone with a lathe, calipers, and a chuck of large plastic or aluminum round stock can make the needed adapter for a static balancer. Basically just make a cup shape large enough for go over the lip on the CARC side of the wheel, dish out the inside just enough to catch the lip on the wheel with a hole in the center.

You, my friend, are a rarity. This isn’t anything MOST people have or have access to these days. ;)
Thankfully I do, along with a 3D printer now.
