with the newer electronic Guzzi’s what are the amps & volt’s suppose to be for the battery to have enough power in it to turn the engine over?

My 06 Griso clicks, even with a battery charger on 30a. Volt is 12.6 on the battery.

I know on a older non EFI computer controlled machine that would start all day long.
I’m having the starter checked to see if it engages & with enough torque.

A typical modern battery should have 12.8 v - 12.85 v when fully charged. On a charger it should be in the 13's or higher.
A battery with a dead cell can cause it to not start, even on a charger. But it could also be the starter / starter solenoid.
A simple test is to measure the voltage at the starter when you push the button to try to start it. See how far it drops. A little voltage drop is typical, although I would expect very little voltage drop while on a 30 a charger. If the ECU sees too much voltage drop it will abort the start. The early Griso's did not have the ability to override that abort the way the later versions did.
It is easy enough to have your battery tested.
I assume on a first year Griso (for this country) you are not on the original battery. What battery do you have and how old is it? If it is a Lithium battery I have had issues with them, especially on cold mornings with the first gen Griso.
