i had a very good friend change the ecu on my 916 to get the termiognis tuned in to the bike. i have just bought exhausts for the bellagio and wanted to ask if anyone has tuned their mistral performance pipes to the engine.
i would have thought that they need to be tuned to the ecu as if they work efficiently by getting more gases out and need more petrol air in. this will need changing on the bike.
hope you can help.

Contact Todd about a reflash and PC unit with autotune. That should take care of things.

Re: bellagio how to change ecu with mistral performance pipe

i have fitted the Mistral pipes and spoke to Baldrick moto guzzi mechanic. he mentioned it might need to be reset but that the ecu will alter to manage the change. I fitted the exhausts and it sounds awesome. It now pulls from low down and seems a diffrent bike altogher. i have put a couple of videos on vimeo and youtube

Re: bellagio how to change ecu with mistral performance pipe

i received a email from mistral and they say the bike will automatically adjust to the demand over 300 kms.

Re: bellagio how to change ecu with mistral performance pipe

The bike will not re-adjust, as only low speed fueling is corrective. If you think it runs well now, allowing the bike to fuel correctly will give you much better throttle response with of course more power, and much cooler running then the stock system. I have proven this over the last 12+ years. Read the ECU thread here; https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/235/4129 -- then the PC-V thread here; https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/235/2686
Feel free to contact me direct email with any questions; Todd at GuzziTech.com
