Hey Folks.

2 Questions,

1- Where is a good place to get the bike serviced in the South Eastern suburbs in Melbourne?

2- Can anyone point in the direction to get some Bar End mirrors?

Thanks

Can't help with a mechanic / dealer in Melbourne but I'm sure the Vic Guzzi Club guys could probably suggest someone, contact them through their website.

Mirrors, there are a million websites who will sell you some but these guys have some reasonable quality items at fair prices.
http://www.thirdgear.com.au/
I've bought a few things from them and they seem reputable and provide good service.

Thanks for that. Any tips for installing the mirrors?

I've had positive experiences with Brad the Bike Boy and the new dealer in Elizabeth Street. A1 Ringwood were ok, too. With Brad, you talk to the bloke who's working on your bike, whereas the others you talk to the counter chaps.

If you find mirrors you like it should be fairly straight forward to fit them.
If they fit around the end of the bar it is just a matter of moving the grips inboard a bit from the end of the bar.
You might have to undo the switch blocks and remove the locating pins if they are like those on my Griso. When you unbolt them from the bar you should see what I mean, the will probably have a hole drilled in the standard bar into which the locating pins fit. You can pull the Brass pins out of the switch assembly with some pliers and when you relocate them just wrap a layer or two of electrical tape around the bar and this will secure them firmly when tightened up.
Those that fit in the the end of the bar may require the bar end plug to be removed.
When you get some just take a bit of time looking at all of the relevant parts before you start tearing things to bits.

Hi, the Guzzi Club of UK has a pretty active bunch of Bellagio riders on their forum. I recall a lot of threads and pic's about bar end mirrors and other mod's. Worth a look!
