Best amber LED strip to adhere to European rearview mirrors?

Removed my Euro kit and put back on a set of factory mirrors awhile back, to get the turn signals back where they belong-- away from the headlights.

On coming traffic see's my turn signals again, but seeing clearly behind myself isn't happening at any rpm below 5000, as you all well know from your own experience with the factory mirrors on the North American version Stelvio's.

I'm back to searching for suitable LED strips to adhere to the Euro mirrors, and the correct diode to wire up inline on the power lead.

Seeking known solutions :)
 
Well, this is not a "known solution" for a Stelvio but I think they are worth a look.
I put a pair of LED Hyper Lites on my '96 Ducati because the brake light was fairly ineffective. That was more than 10 years ago and they are still working and amazingly bright, even in broad daylight. They make LED lights that can be used for turn signals, stop lights and driving lights. Just an idea - you could mount the amber Hyper Lites on the hand guard and run the wire through the inside and along the handle bar....
